If a Solaxyra calculator gives a result that looks wrong, or a page contains an outdated price, rule or broken link, please tell us. Reader reports are one of the most useful ways we keep the site accurate.
How Do You Report an Error?
Email contact@solaxyra.com with “Error report” in the subject line and include:
- The page URL, copied from your browser’s address bar.
- The inputs you used, including any options you selected, such as AC or DC, single-phase or three-phase, or the country.
- The result you saw, ideally copied with the “Copy result” button or shown in a screenshot.
- The result you expected and how you worked it out, for example a formula, a manufacturer datasheet or an official source.
- Your device and browser, if the problem is with how the page displays or behaves.
For errors in text, such as a price, a date or a regulation, please quote the sentence concerned and include a link to the source that shows the correct information if you have one.
What Happens After You Report It?
- We acknowledge your report, usually within a few working days.
- We reproduce the problem using the inputs you sent and check the result against the formula and the sources listed on the page.
- If the page or calculator is wrong, we correct it and retest it, including the worked example and edge cases.
- We update the date the page was last checked and let you know what was changed.
Reports that could affect safety, such as cable sizing, fuse ratings or battery guidance, are reviewed first.
How Are Corrections Logged?
Every confirmed error is recorded in an internal corrections log with the date, the page, a summary of the problem and the change made. Significant corrections, such as a changed formula, a corrected default value or an amended safety statement, are also noted on the page concerned so readers can see what changed and when. Minor fixes, such as typing errors or broken links, are corrected without a public note.
If we check a report and find the page is correct, we will explain why. Sometimes a difference comes from an assumption, such as power factor, efficiency or tariff, and we may improve the wording so the assumption is clearer.
